If you haven’t heard of Banjara hills, It is an urban commercial center and one of the most affluent neighborhoods in Hyderabad, Telangana. It is an upmarket locality close to Jubilee hills. Jubilee Hills is home to influential people including many Tollywood actors.
Banjara hills was a forest and sparsely inhabited. Only a few royal members of Nizam’s dynasty lived there, which was a hunting ground for them. In contemporary times the area has been completely transformed into an urban commercial center consisting of an array of high-end hotels, restaurants, night clubs and office buildings of global corporations.
Banajara hills is famous for its hotels, upscale restaurants, and large-scale shopping malls; Taj Krishna, Taj Deccan, and Taj Banjara are the well-known hotels in the area.
Horror Stories of Banjara Hills
Banjara hills just sound perfect right? We saw the sunny side, but now let us look at the dark side. There is a graveyard on Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills on road 12, and those who take the path have often complained of paranormal activities.
Some people have encountered the lights turning off mysteriously, and others have found all four of their car tires punctured mysteriously. Interestingly, several people have reported a drop in temperature while on road 12.
Banjara hills is encompassed with forests, these roads are the hub of eerie incidents. Especially road 12 has several horror stories and spooky incidents.
Bone Chilling Incidents
Amrutha valley is located on road number 12, Bhola Nagar, Banjara hills. Zara who was staying in Amrutha valley shared her chilling experience. It was a dark summer night, the third floor of Amrutha valley was almost empty, and Zara was sleeping on the rooftop of Penthouse. The first floor of the duplex was unlit as her flatmate had gone out of the country. The temperature was 45 degrees which unfortunately appeared with a power cut.
Zara turned uncomfortably on the thin mattress feeling the heat. As she checked her phone it was 2 am, she noticed a silhouette on the water tank above her room. “It was staring at me, I got up and asked who is there twice, there was no answer,” She said “I sat and shouted again, there was no answer but slowly the figure retreated”.
To Zara’s horror, she came to know that the complex had witnessed suicides, murders, rape, raid, and people going mad for no reason.
In conclusion, if you are up for some serious chills, you must visit the graveyard on road 12 of Banjara hills.
